SOURCING NETWORK

Where We Source From

These are the channels Atlas Horizon Group sources an open-market requirement through. We quote from a named distributor's own price and stock position for the item in front of us, and we say where a line is coming from rather than returning a parts-search guess.

National Industrial Distributors

The national industrial distributors that stock MRO hardware, fasteners, and facility maintenance supply.

OEM-Authorized Part Channels

Factory-authorized channels for branded components, where traceability back to the manufacturer is part of the requirement.

Specialty Mill & Fastener Houses

Domestic fastener, fitting, and valve specialists for non-catalog sizes and specification-grade hardware.

Electrical & Automation Distributors

Power distribution, controls, and instrumentation sourced through regional electrical distribution accounts.

Occupational Safety Specialists

Respiratory, eye, hand, and fall-protection supply drawn from dedicated workplace safety distributors.

Aftermarket & Surplus Channels

Documented aftermarket and surplus availability for expedited line items when the primary channel is out of stock.

Every quoted line carries the distributor's own stock position and lead time, so there is nothing left to guess once the award is placed.

NSN / PART NUMBER LOOKUP

Have a Stock Number? Send It and We Quote It.

A national stock number, a manufacturer part number, or a federal stock class is enough to start. The desk prices it against live distributor stock and returns a firm quote, usually within 24 to 72 hours — whether or not the item is carried in the national stock system.

Fulfillment Timelines & Common Questions

Straight answers on quote turnaround, delivery windows, and what happens when a requirement changes after award.

Most quotes returned in 24–72 hours

Open-market RFQs are logged the same business day they arrive. Requests submitted with a clear part number, NSN, or federal stock class, the quantity required, and the ship-to activity are typically quoted within 24 to 72 hours. Requirements that need cross-referencing, obsolete-part sourcing, or manufacturer confirmation of lead time may take a few business days, and we tell you which category your request falls into when we acknowledge it.

06 / COMPLIANCE STANDARDS

Sourcing Standards & Supplier Vetting

Written for buyers awarding an open-market requirement to Atlas Horizon Group for the first time: where our stock comes from, how suppliers and parts are verified, and what documentation follows the order.

01SUPPLIER VETTING

How are your suppliers vetted before a part is quoted?

Our policy is to quote from an authorized distribution channel or the manufacturer, and not from an open broker listing. Before we quote, we check the part against the manufacturer's published catalogue data, so the specification on your requisition can be matched to a documented source. Where we cannot establish that for a line, we tell you rather than quoting it.

02SOURCING INTEGRITY

Do you source from the grey market or unauthorized brokers?

No. We buy through authorized distribution channels and manufacturers, under traceable manufacturer part numbers. When a part is obsolete or a stock number is backordered, we cross-reference it to the current manufacturer part or an approved equivalent and present that option to you, with documentation, before anything is ordered.

03PART VERIFICATION

How do you confirm a quoted product matches the requirement?

The quote is built from the part number, national stock number, or written specification on your requisition and checked line by line against published catalogue data. Where a manufacturer supersedes a part, the superseding number is shown beside the original so the match is visible before award. No substitution ships without the ordering activity's written approval.

04ORIGIN & TRADE

How do you handle country-of-origin and domestic-content conditions?

When a requirement carries a country-of-origin, domestic-content, or trade-agreement condition, we confirm in writing how it is met before award. Origin documentation travels with the shipment where the order calls for it, and if no compliant option exists we say so plainly rather than quote a part we cannot stand behind.

05ORDER DOCUMENTATION

What compliance documentation accompanies a quote or an order?

Documentation is provided per purchase order: a packing slip and, where the order requires them, a certificate of conformance, country-of-origin statement, and manufacturer traceability records. FAR and DFARS clauses referenced by the ordering activity flow into the quote and order acknowledgment, and special packaging, labeling, or Department of Defense form requirements are handled before release.

06BUYER ONBOARDING

What credentials do you provide to a new federal buyer?

Atlas Horizon Group is a limited liability company with a current Certificate of Good Standing and a FinCEN beneficial ownership filing on record. Entity details (UEI and NCAGE where applicable), business identifiers, and our capability statement are provided on request so a contracting officer or prime contractor can complete vendor onboarding and award without chasing paperwork.

08 / COMPLIANCE DISCLOSURES

Supplier Integrity & Procurement Compliance Statement

Atlas Horizon Group is an independent value-added reseller of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) industrial supply, operating under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as they apply to open-market COTS procurement. Our sourcing policy is to buy through authorized distribution channels and manufacturers, and not from open broker listings. Where a requirement carries a country-of-origin, domestic-content or trade-agreement condition, we confirm in writing how it is met before award, and we say so plainly where no compliant option is available rather than quoting a part we cannot stand behind. Orders ship direct to the receiving point the purchase order names, including blind shipment where the order calls for it. Documentation accompanies each order as its terms require.
